The Obsequies of Sis. Emma Cade Tate

The Great and Merciful Father in His Wisdom and power on July 3, 1972 remove Sis. Emma Tate from the trouble of this world. She was born December 12, 1903 in Tangiphaoa Parish to the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Cade.

Sister Tate was married to the late Aldophus Tate and lived in Amite where she was united with Butler Chapel. She served as Vice-President of the Deaconess Board until her illness prevented further services.

She leaves to mourn her loss; on daughter, Gracie Bryant of New Orleans, 2 brothers in Jim Cade of Rosalind and Charlie Cade of Kenner, one sister, Cinderella Davis of Baton Rouge, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Notes: Sis Emma Cade Tate funeral was held on Saturday, July 8, 1972 at Butler Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.
